AirTran

    Alaska Airlines
  • About 75 percent of Alaska's regular schedule will operate Monday, including international flights
  • Travelers scheduled to fly through Monday may request refunds or rebooking without penalty
  • Travelers scheduled to fly between September 18 and October 11 may rebook without penalty
  • Check http://www.alaskaair.com for updated flight schedules, as phone lines are very busy

    American Airlines
  • Toll-free number for families of AA 11 or AA 77: 1-800-245-0999
  • About 65 percent of American's regular schedule will operate Sunday; flights to/from Washington (National) are canceled through at least Monday

  • The airline will trim its capacity in many markets, and will eventually operate only 80 percent of its previous flight schedule
  • Customers scheduled to travel through September 18 may rebook without penalty for travel through November 15, or may receive a refund

    America West
  • Most flights are operating Sunday, except for international flights and those to/from Washington (Reagan National)

    Continental
  • A reduced schedule will operate on Sunday, about 55 percent of the normal schedule, and including flights to Mexico
  • The airline will reduce its schedule by 20 percent over the long-term

  • Refunds are available for travelers with tickets for September 11-13
  • Customers scheduled to travel through September 25 may rebook without penalty

    Delta
  • About 75 percent of normal schedule is operating on Sunday

    Hawaiian Airlines
  • A full schedule has resumed
  • Travelers should confirm their flight status before going to the airport, and arrive three hours before departure for trans-Pacific flights

    JetBlue
  • A full schedule will resume this weekend, with the exception of a few flights to/from New York (JFK) on Saturday and Sunday that have been canceled
  • Travelers scheduled to fly through September 17 may rebook through September 30 without change fees or fare increases, or travel beginning October 1 without change fees only
  • Travelers on canceled flights may rebook or receive credits or full refunds
  • Special fares are available for travel to New York, for departure through September 19 and return through October 2

    Midway
  • All future flight operations are suspended
  • Ticketholders are entitled to refunds or rebooking on other carriers

    Midwest Express
  • All service will resume Sunday except for Washington (Reagan National) flights, some of which will arrive instead at Washington (Dulles)
  • Refund and change rules waived for travel scheduled through Monday

    National Airlines
  • Schedules have resumed, except for flights to/from Washington (Reagan National)

  • The airline will reduce its schedule by 20 percent over the long-term

  • Non-refundable tickets may be exchanged for a travel voucher or refund

    Northwest
  • About 50 percent of scheduled flights operated on Saturday
  • The airline will reduce its schedule by 20 percent over the long-term
  • Travel scheduled through September 15 may be refunded or changed without penalty
  • Travel scheduled from September 16 through October 11 may be rebooked without penalty for travel within one year

    Southwest

  • Spirit has resumed scheduled service, subject to some cancellations
  • Customers should arrive at least three hours before departure

    Sun Country
  • A full flight schedule has resumed
  • Customers traveling through September 16 at 12 midnight CT may request refunds

    TWA
  • About 90 percent of TWA's regular service will operate Sunday
  • Passengers scheduled to travel through September 18 may rebook tickets for travel through November 15, or request refunds, without penalty
  • Passengers scheduled to travel through September 25 may rebook tickets for travel through November 15 without penalty

    United Airlines

  • Limited domestic and international service will operate through the weekend, and will increase throughout next week

    US Airways
  • About two-thirds of scheduled flights will operate Sunday, and about three-quarters on Monday. All flights to/from Washington (Reagan National) are canceled through Monday. A reduced shuttle schedule between Boston and New York (LaGuardia) will also operate until 4 p.m. ET Sunday, when the shuttle will resume a normal schedule

    Vanguard

    INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES

    The FAA has begun to allow foreign airlines to fly into the U.S., provided they meet heightened security standards, and depending on their country of origin.     Aer Lingus
  • A full schedule of transatlantic flights will resume on Sunday
  • Passengers on canceled flights this week may rebook or receive a refund without penalty
  • Advance purchase and minimum stay rules are waived between Ireland and the U.S. through September 21

    Aeromexico
  • U.S.-Mexico flights will continue to resume on Sunday
  • Flights within Mexico, and from Mexico to Europe or South America are operating as normal

  • Service has resumed to/from most U.S. cities, but passengers are asked to arrive four hours before departure

  • Passengers with travel scheduled after September 25 may rebook for travel through January 2, or may request a refund in the form of a voucher for future travel

    Air Jamaica
  • Flights will resume a normal schedule on Sunday
  • Passengers with tickets through September 25 may cancel or rebook without penalty

    Air New Zealand
  • Passengers scheduled for flights through September 14 may cancel their booking and request a refund
  • Passengers scheduled for travel to, from, or via the U.S. and U.K. through September 18 can rebook for travel through November 30 without penalty

    Alitalia

    British Airways

  • Passengers scheduled to travel between September 11 and September 17 may rebook for travel through October 31, subject to availability and without penalty
